LEARNERS PERMIT

When you have passed your theory test you can now apply for your Learner’s Permit. You will need this learners permit to legally drive on the road.

For a first time learner permit application you must supply:

• Application form for learner permit D201 (Fully completed)
• Evidence of PPSN
• Driver Theory Test pass certificate (dated within 2 years)
• NDLS Eyesight Report form D502 (Fully completed and dated within 1 month)
• NDLS medical form (dated within 1 month) if required
• Evidence of CPC if required (for bus or trucks)
• Evidence of address (dated within 6 months)
• Photographic ID
• Evidence of residency entitlement
• Relevant fee
• Your Photograph and signature will be captured at the NDLS office

Now that you have received your learner’s permit you are now ready to start taking driving lessons.
